2010 Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Budget Summaries
District Financial Audit
An independent audit of the District's financial records and practices is performed annually in compliance with CHWD Policy No. 6010. The audit is performed by an independent certified public accounting firm that reports directly to the District's Board of Directors. We are pleased that the annual financial audit shows that the District's financial records are in good shape, and its accounting practices conform with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. The Independent Auditor also prepares an annual Management Letter that provides comments on District internal controls and operations, with suggestions regarding matters identified as opportunities for strengthening internal controls and operating efficiency.
