Every new CHWD customer is required to complete a New Service Application and pay a $30 application fee. The fee covers the cost for setting up the new account.

Closing Account Application: No Fee
The Closing Account Application provides CHWD with important information, including forwarding address for final bills, dates for when water service is requested to be shut off and more. It also provides the customer with critical information, including potential impacts to water heaters, pools and more if the water is shut off.

Hydrant Meter Permit
Most construction projects and activities requiring water from a fire hydrant in the District require a Hydrant Meter Permit, including placement by the District of a construction water meter. A refundable security deposit is required for the use of the meter. In advance of your project, please contact the District to schedule an appointment to determine your water needs.

Construction Water Permit
In cases where a fire hydrant is not available or placement of a construction water meter is not possible, a Construction Water Permit may be used to provide water for construction purposes.
